Slight novelties, but in good numbers, come to the Jaguar i-Pace range. It claims of being the first 100 percent electric premium SUV on the market. Clearly Jaguar haven’t thought of JAC iEV7 premium SUV.
It arrived in 2018, built in aluminum and with fully electric mechanics. Develops 294 kW (400 hp) of power, 696 Nm of torque and all-wheel drive. Now, the British brand incorporates some changes to make the i-Pace an even more attractive product. Jaguar is already available on the market at a price of 80,750 euros.
For example, in the connectivity section. The renewed i-Pace is in charge of launching in Jaguar the new multimedia system “Pivi Pro”. Inspired by the operation of smartphones: that is, more intuitive, faster and easier to use. use thanks to the new interface, for example, the navigation system is supported by a new integrated supplementary battery, so it starts up faster. All system upgrades are done automatically and remotely.
To connect the smartphone with the vehicle (two at the same time via Apple CarPlay, one with Android Auto), a new wireless charging base (optional) has been installed, which also functions as a signal booster to guarantee maximum coverage. In addition, the Jaguar i-Pace now comes with the integrated Spotify program and, at the same time, with an integrated dual SIM card and a free 4G data plan (whose duration depends on whether the “Navigation Pack or the“ Online Pack “).
Jaguar i-Pace 2021 faster load
The new Jaguar i-Pace now comes standard with an 11 kW on-board charger for access to three-phase charging sockets. In this way, it will be possible to charge at home much faster: according to Jaguar, it will be possible to recharge 51 km of autonomy per hour when connected to a domestic wall charger (AC) or 11 kW Wallbox (full charge in 8.6 hours ); with single phase 7 kW wall loads they would recover up to 35 km per hour (full load in 12.75 hours).
If we already go to a 50 kW fast charger, they recover up to 63 km in 15 minutes; on a 100 kW charger, up to 127 in that quarter of an hour. We recall that the approved range of the Jaguar i-Pace, according to the WLTP cycle, is 470 kilometers.
Jaguar i-Pace 2021: Interior
In the technological section, the Jaguar i-Pace also presents new features: for example, the new 360-degree vision camera to control everything that surrounds the one hundred percent electric SUV at all times. Inside we can also enjoy the new digital rear-view mirror with “ClearSight”, which allows its using as a conventional mirror or as a digital image from the high-resolution camera built into the rear roof antenna.
A new cabin air ionization system has been installed: it incorporates filtration equipment that traps ultra-fine particles, such as allergens. This system can work even during the charging process, as a preconditioning of the passenger compartment. The air conditioning system has also improved, offering individual configuration in four independent zones.
On an aesthetic level, few new features except these: a new gray “Atlas” grille finish, a new “Bright” package with exclusive details on the grille, mirror caps and rear apron, new glossy black rear badges and new colors Red “Caldera”, Blue “Portofino” and Gray “Eiger” for the body.
JAC iEV7 vs Jaguar
While Jaguar has more technical characteristics, the user mostly pays additional fee for the Jaguar brand. JAC iEV7 model has pretty much the same characteristics, but the price differs more than three times. Both of these electric cars are a premium SUV class. The least thing you can do is to check the JAC iEV7 and register for the test run. You will see that price and quality is better in JAC.
