It is an electric vehicle + gasoline engine to extend the travel distance.
The London Electric Vehicle Company is expanding beyond taxis and vans as the company announced its first e-Camper. Deliveries are expected to begin later this year. The new electric LEVC e-Camper is based on the company’s VN5 van, using the same powertrain, which combines an electric motor with a gasoline-powered range extender.
LEVC claims that the e-Camper offers the same range as the VN5, with the powertrain providing 60 miles (98 kilometers) of pure electric range. The gasoline engine extends this to 304 miles (489 km), although it does not directly power the wheels. The electrified powertrain allows the e-Camper to drive zero emissions in places with limited charging infrastructure while being a bit more environmentally friendly.
Inside

The single powertrain is certainly a draw, but if LEVC forgot to pack the camping basics. Then the zero-emission setup doesn’t really matter. However, it doesn’t appear that LEVC has forgotten anything. The motorhome can sleep up to four thanks to the sunroof, which incorporates sleeping space for two. The bench in the second row converts into a second double bed. Other features include a built-in electric kitchenette and a central folding table. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it’s a feature-rich offering for a e-Camper.

Deliveries begin in the fourth quarter of this year, and interested buyers can register with LEVC to learn more about the new model in the coming months. The LEVC e-Camper starts at £ 62,250 / € 73,000 ($ 86,000 at current exchange rates). The e-Camper will support a range of exclusive racks for surfboards, bicycles and other equipment. Upgrade options include a wide choice of paint colors, colorful bumpers, and alloy rims. LEVC is looking to capitalize on the growing trend of e-Campers, and it seems to have a great product on their hands.
JAC iEV7S vs LEVC e-Camper quick summary
Though JAC’s iEV7S is a mix for an everyday use to drive to work and to travel to urban areas. It can be used to comfortably drive to lake or to nature to grill the meat and bring all the needed equipment.
With LEVC e-Camper you can travel more comfortably to the nature, but this car is made JUST FOR THAT. It is not comfortable for everyday use. JAC surely wins this moral fight for use in everyday. Moreover, JAC iEV7S does not pollute because it is 100% electric. Moreover JAC can travel 350km on a single charge compared to 98km of the e-Camper.
For a week-long trip we would choose LEVC e-Camper, but for a single 1-2 day trip to the nature – Definitely JAC iEV7S!
